No installation: plug & go, can be installed in any store. Battery operated, no cables or power supply needed. Long battery life: approx. 2 years. Easy operation: data can be downloaded to a USB stick. Large display; the device is simply attached with the supplied tesa strips. Integrated alignment aid: an LED shows whether the counter is positioned correctly. Range: up to approx. 10 metres. Very small: transmitter and receiver are about the size of a cigarette pack. Upgradeable. No electrosmog: the O&W customer counter with display is a battery-operated bidirectional footfall counter. It counts by direction, in and out. The technology is based on interrupting the horizontal infrared beam. The transmitter sends the infrared beam to the receiver. When this beam is interrupted, e.g. by a person, the receiver detects it and increases the number on the display. Thanks to innovative technology, the system can run for approx. 4 years on the same set of batteries without reducing the range
